Soft Tissue Manipulation

An important compliment to chiropractic adjustments is soft tissue work.  This includes treatment of your muscles, ligaments and tendons.  I like to relax the muscles around the area I am planning to adjust to minimize the body's resistance and make the adjustment more comfortable.  My main goal is to re-balance the muscles from side to side and top to bottom.

In those cases that require more advanced soft tissue work, I have a great working relationship with other practitioners in relevant fields.  Sometimes it is necessary to see a massage therapist, acupuncturist or reflexologist.  In these referral cases, I try to take into account not only the technique involved, but also the personalities of both the patient and the practioner.  Being paired with the right person can help increase the success of the treatment and make it more beneficial for everyone.
